The chairman of the Planning Communications Sub-committee of the UmoEno/AkonEyakenyi Campaign Organization, Mr. Usen Udoh, has again reiterated the fact that the Court of Appeal declaration of Pastor Umo Eno as the authentic candidate of the PDP, further confirmed that no one can work against the Lord’s anointed candidate.
Speaking with newsmen in Uyo on Wednesday, Udoh maintained that the people of the state have since resolved to deliver the Pastor UmoEno/AkonEyakenyi governorship joint ticket, saying that Pastor Umo Eno remains the best candidate among the contestants because of his wealth experience from the private sector.
It would be recalled that the Appeal Court had previously entertained cases emanating from Akwa Ibom State, informing that the court had previously resolved the issue of the use of delegates in Akwa Ibom State.
Mr. Udoh said: “The lower court which was totally misguided by Hon. Michael Enyong had no jurisdiction to have re-visited the issue of primaries and the authenticity of its candidate.
“According to legal opinion, the lower court was wrong to rely on the lack of evidence in its declaration. The lower court was totally wrong and acted per incuriam, resulting in the award of N1 million Naira cost against the opponent.
