Renowned Televangelist, Rev. Sam Tukura Storms Bayelsa, April 25-28

…As Preparation for Yenagoa Ministers’ Conference Gears Up

Renowned televangelist, Rev. Sam Tukura will be the guest speaker at the forthcoming Yenagoa Miracle Crusade, ministers and church workers’ conference at the King’s City Field, Kingdom Grace Mission, opposite the Local Content Tower, Oxbow Lake, Yenagoa from April 25th -28th 2024.

Briefing newsmen at the crusade ground shortly after Sunday service, the General Superintendent of Kingdom Grace Mission Inc., and host of the Crusade and Ministers Conference, Apostle Timiebi G Kiyaramo said preparations for the crusade which has the theme: “Power in the Word” was on top gear, informing that Christian gatherings such as crusades, seminars and ministers’ conferences were reminders of the believers duty to win souls for God.

While reiterating the benefits of attending Christian gatherings like the forthcoming Yenagoa Miracle Crusade and Ministers Conference, Apostle Kiyaramo noted that such events provide believers an opportunity to lift their spiritual lives as well as sustaining support for those whom God has called to preside in His earthly Kingdom.

“There are new things to learn about preaching, about leadership, about so many areas of pastoral service. Churches are not static places, and that means that an effective pastor should be constantly learning in order to keep himself fresh. So regularly participating in Christian gatherings is one of the best ways to do that.

“When believers resolve to attain greater faith and commitment, attending Christian gatherings becomes a lifestyle and not a burden at all. There is much to be treasured and remembered from previous conferences with our guest speaker, Rev. Sam Tukura along alongside other ministers of the gospel ministering.

“The Yenagoa Miracle Crusade/Ministers Conference will enrich our lives and give us a positive reinforcement against the evils of this world. Christian programmes like this one provide occasions for Christians to grow in faith and in love for the Lord and His eternal work.

“As pastors, we may have been worried about congregations that have been seemingly locked in concrete resistance to changing situations or new opportunities, yet we serve year after year in pastoral miniseries, being too busy, yet falling into the same trap of doing things the same way and becoming stale without finding time to attend Christian gatherings refresh ourselves.

“Attending great conferences also reminds us that there are new and fresh approaches to some of the same challenges we may face as believers. By hearing from annointed speakers at Christian gatherings and sharing with other participants over lunch or during after-session cup of coffee meetings, we gain new insights about approaching some of the issues that confront us as pastors or leaders. Just one breakthrough idea could be more than paying for the cost of participating in the event.

“Come to think of it, if you were a physician, accountant or an attorney, you would not have a choice but to attend professional conferences or workshops that would be required to earn you a certain number of continuing education units on a regular basis as evidence that you are keeping up-to-date in your field. Then, why do we think pastoral ministry deserves less attention?

“The reality is that there is so much to learn, whether as Bible College dropout or a seminary doctoral graduate. There are new ideas, new information, and new trends to understand. The Word may be eternal, but there are fresh insights that you may not have heard before, “Apostle Kiyaramo said.

Other guest speakers at the event include Chairman, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Bayelsa State, and Pastor. Dr. Tam Seth Eyedoude, Founding pastor of the Doxa Family Church, Port Harcourt, Rev. T Y. Emmanuel, Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Bayelsa state, Rev. Father Joseph Opelema, co-founder of the popular Voice of the Cross gospel band, Apostle, Dr. Lazarous Chukwuoma, with foremost Ijaw gospel musical artiste, Rev. Bannerman Timitula E.
